Don't forget to SHARE this video subscribe: Dropper posts have been around for years, but, it's only in the last year or so that we've really seen them used in world cup-level cross country mountain bike racing. This might seem a bit confusing, as, droppers definitely make sense there. Dropper posts aside, there's a load of new pro tech that has either dropped – or been hinted at – in the last few days. Julien Absalon will have two bike sponsors, including an e-bike sponsor. Talking e-bikes, the UCI has banned them from all race courses from the 1st January this year.
