We were at the launch of SCOTT's 27.5" Plus range. Excited? This video has everything you need to know about the bikes and this new wheel standard. Subscribe to GMBN: http://gmbn.eu/Subscribe 27.5" Plus wheels combine the best of a couple of worlds. Obviously the wheel size sits between 26" and 29", and, the tyre width sits between standard tyres and fat bikes at 2.8" to 3.0" wide. The rim width is wide to cope with the tyres, and the frame and fork clearances are increased to match. These bikes occupy a mid-point. We know that 26" bikes are incredibly fun, and, we know that 29" are fun too, but with different benefits. We know that fat bikes have a really unique ride quality, and, we all ride, and love standard width tyres (or, let's face it, we probably wouldn't be mountain bikers). So, will 27.5"+ take advantage of all the great qualities and provide the best of four worlds? Check out the video, like and share and tell us your thoughts in the comments.
