Born in Wells Somerset, Rich Payne developed his love & passion for mountain biking as a youngster in the local Mendip hills with the likes of Rachel, Gee and Dan Atherton! He began his career in the MTB industry with his dad, attending local races & events together where Rich would develop his talents, moving up the ranks and competing in DH and Four-Cross races, eventually racing in the EWS series around the globe! From humble beginnings digging jumps in the woods with the Atherton's to XC racing, Four-cross competitions, DH championships and EWS series, Rich truly is a man of two-wheel steeze, and what talent he has with that eh!
