Washing your MTB when you live in a flat or apartment can be a pain; but dropping mud everywhere and having to face the wrath of housemates/family/partner can be even more of a pain. If it does dry it's not the end of the world but your life will be a little harder. You can use a bucket and brush, handheld pressure washer, or even a garage car wash (but be careful of the pressure!) to get the worst of the mud off.
